" Had a bit of a mixed experience at Avalon Cafe. The food was quite good overall; we ordered the flan and the Cajun shrimp & sausage pizza, which were delicious. However, the service left something to be desired. Our waitress was nice, but we waited too long for refills, and the restaurant was not busy at the time. " A beautiful spot for dining! The cafe's ambiance is cozy and warm, perfect for a dinner date. I chose the elk steak, and I have to say it was one of the best I’ve ever had! We ordered a variety of dishes to share, including the baked brie – absolutely delicious! The crab cakes were divine, and my roast duck would make anyone come back for seconds. " Very disappointed with my recent visit to Avalon. We arrived with high expectations based on friends' recommendations. However, we experienced quite slow service and food that didn't meet our hopes. I tried the mushroom ravioli, and it was bland, almost like frozen food.
