" My family and I visited Acapulco recently, and we wanted to try something new. While the atmosphere was inviting and the staff friendly, the food fell short of our expectations. The enchilada sauce seemed watered down, and the beans had no flavor at all. My kids were not impressed either and preferred their usual favorite Mexican spot. On the bright side, the prices are quite reasonable for the portions we received. Given our experience, we may not return, but I wouldn’t discourage others from giving it a try. " This restaurant holds a special place in my heart. As someone who has traveled through Mexico and tasted authentic cuisine, I can't help but feel disappointed by what Acapulco offers. Sure, the staff is warm and welcoming, but I found the food lacking in true Mexican flavors. The tacos I ordered had very little seasoning and the meat was rubbery. On the bright side, they do provide a generous amount of chips, but the salsa tasted like a cheap jarred version you can buy at a grocery store. However, I must note that others in my group enjoyed their meals, so perhaps it just wasn’t my lucky day. I'll give it another try, but my expectations have been tempered.
