" I visited The American Bar for the first time last week, and I have to say it exceeded my expectations! The ambiance is cozy and welcoming, reminiscent of my travels in France. I tried the onion soup and the ribeye steak, which were both fantastic. The flavor was rich and the quality of the meat was excellent. " Had a very disappointing experience here recently. While the ambiance is lovely and staff friendly, my steak was severely undercooked. I sent it back for a proper cook but received it back still rare inside. Sadly, the meal wasn't up to the standard expected of a French restaurant. I had the chicken and my friends tried the steak and pork, some items were amazing and others weren’t as impressive, though. " Absolutely loved The American Bar! I took my wife here for a surprise dinner and we both enjoyed every aspect of our meal. Starting with the delicious warm bread with honey butter, the steak was cooked perfectly medium-rare and the wines paired beautifully. The staff was attentive but not intrusive.
