Sure, not all the dishes meet high expectations for being 'authentic', but if you go in with an open mind, you might find some gems. My favorite is definitely the general Tso's chicken. " Every time I've been to China Buffet, I've left full and satisfied! The portion sizes are incredibly generous, especially for a buffet.
