" My family and I decided to have dinner at Meat Project after hearing rave reviews. The meats were fresh and flavorful, particularly the short ribs which melted in my mouth. However, I was extremely disappointed with the size of the portions, especially of the banchans. I expected more variety and quantity. Despite this hiccup, the ambiance was lovely, making it a cozy spot to enjoy a meal. Service was attentive, and the place was clean. Still, I wish we could have had larger portions to make it feel worth the price we paid. " (*Curated Review*)
" I recently tried Meat Project with some friends, and we were thrilled with our experience! The ambiance was lively and truly reflective of a Korean BBQ joint. We indulged in various meats, including the galbi and spicy pork - both were marinated beautifully and cooked to perfection. The corn cheese side dish complemented our meal perfectly. However, I did feel that some banchans were a bit small. Overall, it was a delicious experience! I would rate it a 4 for food authenticity and 5 for service! " (*Curated Review*)
" I had a delightful experience at Meat Project. The marinated chicken was a standout! The sides were decent as well, especially the kimchi. However, the service was not as attentive as I had hoped; we had to chase down staff multiple times for our drinks and sides. Overall, I think the food was good enough to warrant a return visit, and with a bit of improvement in service, this place could be a strong contender in the KBBQ scene. " (*Curated Review*)
" I was unimpressed during my visit to Meat Project. The meat was fresh but lacked the depth of flavor I was seeking from traditional Korean BBQ. The banchans were quite limited and didn’t have that homemade touch. Service was mediocre, and we had a tough time getting the attention of our server. I probably wouldn’t return unless there were significant changes. Perhaps its newness is affecting quality and consistency. " (*Curated Review*)
" I was blown away by the quality of the meats here! I came for a birthday celebration with a group and we all had a fantastic time grilling and sampling various flavors. The staff was super friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. I especially loved the bulgogi and corn cheese; they were indulgently tasty. The atmosphere was energetic, and though it got a bit noisy, it added to the Korean BBQ vibe! Highly recommend for a fun night out! " (*Curated Review*)
" I recently visited Meat Project and was looking forward to a great meal, but my experience fell short of expectations. While the meat quality was decent, I found that some items tasted off, particularly with the marinated galbi which had a strange flavor, almost sour. On a positive note, the service was attentive, and the atmosphere was lively. I was hoping for a more authentic experience, but I unfortunately can’t say I’d recommend this place based on my experience. More care needs to be put into food preparation and quality control. " I was skeptical about Meat Project since I had heard mixed reviews, but I gave it a shot! The AYCE concept is great for groups. We feasted on a plethora of meats, but the highlight was definitely the honey butter octopus. That was delicious! However, I did find the portion sizes for the sides a bit lacking. They were just enough for sampling, not for sharing as we had hoped. The ambiance was bustling and fun. I’d probably come back now that I know what to expect! " (*Curated Review*)
