" Il Brutto is the go-to spot for a delicious, authentic Italian meal! We started with the bruschetta and it was delightful. The tomatoes were fresh and bursting with flavor. Our main courses included the lasagna and the gnocchi special, both of which were generously sized and absolutely delicious. The staff was attentive and friendly, making us feel welcomed. The only downside was that it was pretty busy and a bit noisy. We left full and happy, planning our next visit already! " (*Curated Review*)
" We came here for a celebratory dinner, expecting to be wowed. We loved the michelin star atmosphere! The food experience overall was pleasant, but I felt that my chicken dish was just average. Portions seemed small, making it feel like we were overpaying. But the tiramisu did deliver on flavor and the wine selection was excellent! The service was attentive, but it felt a tad rushed considering the ambiance. " (*Curated Review*)
" I recently had an unforgettable dining experience at Il Brutto! They exceeded my expectations in every way. Throughout the meal, everything from the appetizers to the dessert was top-notch; we even enjoyed the squid ink pasta with luxurious sea urchin, unlike anything I've tried before. The ambiance was lively, making it hard to leave. The fabulous service added to the charm. Il Brutto truly delivers authentic Italian vibes. I’ll definitely return! " (*Curated Review*)
" I had mixed feelings about my last visit to Il Brutto. While the ambiance was charming, I was disappointed with the service as our waiter seemed rushed and hardly checked in on us. The food was good, especially the prosciutto appetizer and pizza that had a nice crunchy crust. Although the portion sizes felt on the small side for the price, everything was flavorful. I did enjoy the tiramisu but wished for a bigger serving. Overall, it was enjoyable but didn’t quite meet my expectations. " (*Curated Review*)
" Two words: free limoncello! This charming place caught my eye due to its unique menu and delightful décor. I had high hopes going in after reading mixed reviews. The burrata appetizer was impressive, while the mains did not disappoint. My friends raved about the lasagna, and I thoroughly enjoyed my seafood pasta, fresh and perfectly spiced. The atmosphere was warm, and our server was attentive, although a bit busy. A great evening overall! " (*Curated Review*)
" After hearing so much buzz about Il Brutto, I finally had to check it out myself. The ambiance was nice but what really made an impression was the food. I ordered the potato gnocchi, which was fluffy and delightful. The tiramisu is a must-try – by far the best dessert I had in a while. Our waiter was knowledgeable and offered excellent recommendations as well. I left wanting to try more of their dishes; I’ll be back soon! " (*Curated Review*)
" I was blown away by the experience at Il Brutto! From the moment I walked in, the beautiful décor set the stage for a wonderful evening. My friends and I decided to try a little bit of everything, including the pasta and wood-fired pizzas. The lamb ragu was absolutely mouth-watering, and I can't believe how fresh everything tasted. Our server was knowledgeable and eager to recommend dishes to try, which really enhanced our experience. As for dessert, the tiramisu was the best I've had in Austin! I top it off with a limoncello shot on the house. Can't wait to go back! " (*Curated Review*)
