" I ate here for the first time with a group of friends last night. I can’t say it was impressive. The food overall was edible, but that is about it. The egg rolls were mostly filled with cabbage, and the chicken chow mein was a letdown; there were no noodles at all! I understand that some say their chicken balls are good, so that’s what I’ll sample next time. Service was nice enough but very slow, especially for how busy they appeared. " A hidden gem in Napanee! I've recently moved here, and after trying several local restaurants, this one surprised me! The lemon chicken was flavorful and nicely cooked, and I loved the combination of vegetables in the beef stir fry. It may not be the most authentic Chinese I've ever had, but it has a charm that makes you want to come back. Staff were friendly and efficient, although the wait time could be a bit long when busy. " This should have been the night! We finally had the chance to try New York Cafe. Unfortunately, disappointment reigned high.
