" Wow, what a letdown! My friends and I decided to order the family dinner after seeing great reviews online. We were excited, but it turned out to be more of a disaster. The spare ribs were dry as a bone, and the fried rice was like cardboard with way too much soy sauce. In addition, I couldn’t even recognize the ‘chow mein’ they served us! " As a local, I’ve had a love-hate relationship with New York Cafe. Some days feel like they're giving out gourmet meals, and others, the food seems frozen. Recently, I got the beef and broccoli, and I can't complain about the taste. However, I spotted a noted inconsistency with the broccoli portion, which was slightly disheartening. " This should have been the night! We finally had the chance to try New York Cafe. Unfortunately, disappointment reigned high.
