" Delighted by the quality and authenticity of each dish I tried from Family Garden! I recently sampled their house special lo mein and was thoroughly impressed - it had that authentic taste that sometimes gets lost at Americanized versions of Chinese food. The portion sizes were also generous, and I definitely had leftovers for days! I chose to dine in, and the ambience might not be top-notch, but it gives off a cozy feel. " Quite possibly one of my favorite Chinese takeout spots around! The portion sizes are very generous, and the quality is consistently good. I've tried many dishes here, but my top recommendation would be the sesame chicken; it's flavorful and well-prepared every time. The staff is busy but very friendly, which adds to the charm of the place. Just be prepared for the clutter; it feels less like a restaurant and more like a storage space! " I don't understand the hype about Family Garden. I ordered the general tso’s chicken and was extremely disappointed. It lacked the spicy kick that most Chinese restaurants achieve. Everything felt standard and rather bland; it didn't help that my rice was a bit mushy. Maybe they were just having an off day, but based on my first experience, I won't be returning. " Oh wow! I can't get over how yummy the honey chicken is at Family Garden! It's a must-try for anyone who visits. The family that runs this restaurant is incredibly friendly and welcoming.
