" Never have I tasted such authentic corn tortillas anywhere! Every time I'm in the area, I make sure to pick some up. I decided to try this time around, and while my tacos had amazing flavors, I felt the service could use some improvement. The staff seemed preoccupied, and it took a while for someone to acknowledge my presence. Regardless, the quality of food definitely outweighs the service issues. " This spot is a little hole in the wall, which often means the food is amazing! I was not disappointed; their green salsa is fantastic as well! The service was friendly but slightly slow. A couple of people came in after me and received their food first, which puzzled me. Nonetheless, the burrito was excellent. They’re known for their barbacoa and tortillas, and now I understand why! " Tortilleria La Perla is a hidden gem! The tortillas here are out of this world. I specifically went for their menudo, which is traditionally made and has a fantastic flavor. However, I caught a bit of an attitude from the staff, which was unfortunate. They rushed my order and didn’t seem too happy about my questions regarding the menu.
