" I've been visiting La Perla for years, and they still serve one of the best barbacoa burritos in Midland! Their tortillas are simply the best; you'll taste the homemade quality. The only reason I didn't give a perfect rating is because I wish they had more seating options. It can get really crowded, especially on weekends. " Never have I tasted such authentic corn tortillas anywhere! Every time I'm in the area, I make sure to pick some up. I decided to try this time around, and while my tacos had amazing flavors, I felt the service could use some improvement. The staff seemed preoccupied, and it took a while for someone to acknowledge my presence. Regardless, the quality of food definitely outweighs the service issues. " I visited Tortilleria La Perla last week and was blown away by the quality of their tortillas! The corn tortillas were so fresh, and I could taste the authenticity in every bite. I tried their barbacoa burrito as well, and it was packed with flavor, definitely one of the best I’ve had in Midland. The only downside was the wait time for service, as it got pretty crowded during lunch. I would suggest going during off-peak hours if possible. Overall, I'll definitely be back for more! " This spot is a little hole in the wall, which often means the food is amazing! I was not disappointed; their green salsa is fantastic as well! The service was friendly but slightly slow. A couple of people came in after me and received their food first, which puzzled me. Nonetheless, the burrito was excellent. They’re known for their barbacoa and tortillas, and now I understand why!
