" My experience at Tavos was a rollercoaster. The first time, I had a great carne asada torta that was bursting with flavor. However, on my second visit, the service was slow and my order got mixed up. I ended up with a chicken torta that was dry and unexciting. Yet, the ambiance is always lively and welcoming, so I still have hope for my next visit. I think I’ll stick to ordering the torta next time rather than straying from what they do best. " I'm a huge fan of casual dining and Tavos fits the bill perfectly. The ambiance is relaxing, and the staff is super friendly. I had the California torta, and wow, it was huge and incredibly flavorful. My friends thoroughly enjoyed their burritos and shakes as well. I got a Nutella shake that was rich and indulgent. " I’ve been to many Mexican restaurants, but Tavos has something special. The authentic flavors they incorporate are a cut above the rest, especially the tortas. They are generous in portion size. I had the Cubano, which was superb, and the milanesa was fried to perfection. " I thought I'd try Tavos for dinner after hearing rave reviews. Unfortunately, my experience was less than stellar. I ordered the torta ahogada but found it to be overly soggy and lacking flavor. My friend had the birria fries that were decent, but nothing groundbreaking. The atmosphere was nice enough, and the staff was polite but the food did not meet my expectations.
