" I’ve been to many Mexican restaurants, but Tavos has something special. The authentic flavors they incorporate are a cut above the rest, especially the tortas. They are generous in portion size. I had the Cubano, which was superb, and the milanesa was fried to perfection. " I thought I'd try Tavos for dinner after hearing rave reviews. Unfortunately, my experience was less than stellar. I ordered the torta ahogada but found it to be overly soggy and lacking flavor. My friend had the birria fries that were decent, but nothing groundbreaking. The atmosphere was nice enough, and the staff was polite but the food did not meet my expectations.
