Empire Wok

Restaurant $$ 3.6 (363)

Empire Wok primarily serves a variety of Asian dishes that have been labeled as inconsistent in authenticity. Some customers appreciated the freshness of certain dishes, while others were disappointed by the quality and presentation. The overall dining experience appears to be hindered by the use of takeout containers even for dine-in meals, contributing to an overall perception of lower authenticity.

" Had a pleasant dining experience, provided the food was decent. The general tso chicken had a nice kick and was cooked to perfection, but unfortunately, it was served in a takeout container. Very strange for a dine-in scenario. The staff were friendly and attentive, so that made it worth the visit. I might return just for the convenience of takeout, but not in a hurry. " (*Curated Review*)

" Disappointed with my experience. The sweet and sour chicken lacked any flavor, and the crab rangoons were mostly cream cheese. They served my drink in a plastic cup, which didn't help the overall feel of the dining experience. I don’t foresee myself ordering from here again. " (*Curated Review*)

" The Kung Pao Chicken is fantastic, one of the better interpretations I've had. However, the restaurant ambiance was disappointing, and the presentation was lacking, served in throwaway containers. I felt that if they focused more on dining experiences, they would attract more customers. " (*Curated Review*)

" Empire Wok is a mixed bag. When it’s good, it’s great! The pepper chicken is one of my all-time favorites there, super flavorful and fresh! However, I once had a bad experience with the sweet and sour chicken – it was greasy and very oddly textured. Staff is generally friendly and attentive, but sometimes they can be overwhelmed during rush hours. Dine-in is not recommended. Stick to takeout for your orders! " (*Curated Review*)

" While the staff was courteous, the food fell flat on every level. The salt and pepper shrimp tasted mediocre, and everything felt slapped together. Definitely not my ideal meal. I really think they need to focus on quality over quantity to attract more customers. Not coming back! " (*Curated Review*)

" Empire Wok absolutely has room for improvement. My dish was way too oily, and my friend’s was underseasoned. However, I must commend their prompt service. If they can improve on the food quality, I can see it doing quite well. At present, it feels disorganized and not particularly authentic. " (*Curated Review*)

" The food is decent, though I think it’s overpriced for what you get. The sweet and sour chicken was a clear sign that not everything is made in-house. Still, if you need a quick bite, this place is okay. I wouldn’t consider it authentic Chinese cuisine, however. " (*Curated Review*)
