" After hearing so much about this restaurant, I finally made my way here. I had the shrimp pad thai and the flavors were quite different from what I expected. It was unique and not too sweet like at many Americanized Thai restaurants – that’s a plus! However, the service was quite lacking; we waited too long to get our drinks and even longer for our food. " I was so impressed with Sbt Lao Thai Food To Go! The food brought back so many memories from my childhood, especially the green papaya salad that was honestly one of the best I’ve ever tasted. It had the perfect balance of sweet and spicy, just how I love it. The portions are substantial, especially for the price you're paying. I also tried their sticky rice, which came perfectly cooked with the right texture. The only downside was that the service was a bit slow because they were low on staff that evening, but the food made up for it in every way. I would definitely return to try more dishes! " I cannot praise this restaurant enough! From the moment I stepped in, I felt the warmth and inviting atmosphere that is missing in many other places. The owner warmly greeted us, which made us feel right at home. The food…oh my goodness! I had the pad se ew and it was sautéed to perfection! Not too oily, just the right noodles, and loads of fresh greens. It was also very spicy, just as I like it. I also indulged in their sticky rice, paired with the most authentic papaya salad. " This little spot is fantastic! Enjoyed the laarb dish which had the right amount of spice. I even bought some sweet treats to take home, and they were just as authentic as the meal itself. " Absolutely amazing! I consider myself a bit of a foodie, and we’ve been hunting for decent Lao food around here for some time. Sbt Lao Thai did not disappoint! Each dish was authentic, generous portions, and bursting with flavor. I started with the beef jerky, which was perfectly seasoned and unbelievably tender. Then I went for their lao sausage, and it was the best I’ve encountered since my last visit to Laos.
