The carne asada tacos I ordered were out of this world; it felt like I was enjoying a dinner at my abuela’s house. The horchata was refreshing and complemented my meal perfectly. Unfortunately, service could be inconsistent as I noticed my waiter took a while to check in on our table, which was a bummer. " If you want real Mexican food in Sioux City, this is the place! I took my whole family and we loved everything we ordered. The nachos were huge and covered in toppings. The refried beans were delicious and homemade. The service was excellent, and they arrived promptly to refill drinks and check up on us multiple times throughout the meal. " I wanted to love Jose’s, and initially, I did. However, after a couple of visits, I noticed discrepancies in meal quality and portion sizes. The first time I had the shrimp fajitas, they were perfectly seasoned and presented beautifully, but the second time, they fell short of that standard. I believe they may be under new management.
