" Great spot for authentic Japanese flavors! My highlight was the soba noodles; they were perfectly cooked and very flavorful. The only downside was that I found the portion size could be greater considering the price. Service was quick, and the staff was friendly. I really loved the atmosphere as well—it felt cozy and comforting. Overall, I would definitely recommend trying Tamari Bar for anyone craving Japanese cuisine! " (*Curated Review*)
" Wow! I just had the most phenomenal dining experience. The hot-stone wagyu was an absolute showstopper. Watching my beef cook right in front of me on the stone added an extra fun element to our meal. The side dishes were fantastic, and the sashimi simply melted in my mouth, bursting with flavor at each bite. The cocktails were on point as well, especially the ginger-infused ones. I was there during happy hour and I felt like the deal was solid for the money. Can't sing enough praises for Tamari Bar; I'll certainly be back for another meal soon! " (*Curated Review*)
" An excellent choice for a night out! Their drinks menu was remarkable, and I was particularly impressed by their yuzu highball. I ordered the chirashi and was amazed at how fresh everything tasted. It felt like taking a trip to Japan! The dining experience was accompanied by friendly service, which added to the overall enjoyment. They had a variety of seating options, and I would recommend getting a spot outside if the weather permits. A lovely restaurant that I will definitely recommend to my friends! " (*Curated Review*)
" A really enjoyable evening at Tamari Bar! We got to sample a variety of small plates and enjoyed the experience. The restaurant was pretty busy, so it took some time to get our drinks, but the atmosphere was fun and lively. We all agreed the best dish was the wagyu hot stone; cooking the beef ourselves made it feel interactive. While the sushi was good, I did wish the portion sizes were a bit more generous. I’d return for sure, especially for the drinks and that hot stone wagyu! " (*Curated Review*)
" I had heard great things about Tamari Bar, and I was excited to try it out. The decor was charming, with a modern Japanese vibe that set the right mood. Their happy hour menu had some intriguing options, but I felt they could improve on the portion sizes. The flavors were there, but I was still left wanting more, especially after sharing the bento box. It was beautifully presented and quite tasty, but a bit small for the price. The service was friendly, and I'd consider giving it another shot, perhaps during regular hours for a fuller experience. " (*Curated Review*)
" An enjoyable night out with friends! The food was beautifully presented, and I loved the artistic take they had on traditional Japanese cuisine. The tofu dish was exceptional, and I would recommend trying it! While I found a few dishes on the smaller side, we made it work by ordering a variety to share amongst us. The servers were friendly and made us feel welcomed. I’m planning to return soon to explore their seasonal menu! " (*Curated Review*)
" Tamari Bar exceeded my expectations! The environment was truly welcoming with its Japanese influences, and I loved the mix of traditional and modern decor. The hand rolls were delectable and so fresh! I could tell that they take pride in using high-quality ingredients. The only minor hiccup was the wait for a table, but it was worth it. Excellent service overall with helpful staff. A place I will absolutely revisit and recommend to others looking for authentic Japanese cuisine. " (*Curated Review*)
