The staff was friendly, but I really wished for a more authentic take on the dishes. The flavor profile simply didn’t match what we expect from Mexican cuisine. " This restaurant holds a special place in my heart. As someone who has traveled through Mexico and tasted authentic cuisine, I can't help but feel disappointed by what Acapulco offers. Sure, the staff is warm and welcoming, but I found the food lacking in true Mexican flavors. The tacos I ordered had very little seasoning and the meat was rubbery. On the bright side, they do provide a generous amount of chips, but the salsa tasted like a cheap jarred version you can buy at a grocery store. However, I must note that others in my group enjoyed their meals, so perhaps it just wasn’t my lucky day. I'll give it another try, but my expectations have been tempered.
