" I have tried many sushi places but Izakaya Ren truly impressed me. The moment I walked in, I was welcomed warmly by the staff. The decor was lovely with Japanese artwork that accentuated the dining experience. I particularly enjoyed the Ama Ebi, which was the best I have had outside of Japan! It had a nice crunch to the fried head that accompanied the shrimp. My only minor criticism would be the lack of a separate kids' menu, as I dined with my children who were not very adventurous with their food choices. " I recently had dinner at Izakaya Ren and I can't recommend it enough. Everything about the meal was wonderful, starting with the appetizers of gyoza and takoyaki, all the way through to the amazing sushi rolls. The Tuna Tower was particularly spectacular and well worth ordering. The staff was incredibly friendly, and they were quick with our orders even though the restaurant was packed. The only thing I might advise is to skip the squid salad, which I found to be a bit bland compared to the rest of the offerings. " Izakaya Ren has quickly become my favorite sushi spot! Every visit has left me satisfied with excellent quality food and drinks. The cocktail selection is superb, and the staff has always been welcoming. I have a big soft spot for the calamari; it’s the best I have ever had!
