" I made a visit to Koung Thai Restaurant recently and was genuinely impressed by their hospitable service. The staff was friendly and made me feel welcome. I ordered their Red Curry which was rich and flavorful, perfectly balanced with a nice amount of spice. The ambiance was cozy, though I wished it could be a bit more lively. " After many visits, I must say that Koung Thai has fallen short on a few occasions. The food can be hit or miss with inconsistency in quality. During my last visit, the flavors were so muted and not representative of authentic Thai cuisine. On top of that, the portions were smaller than what I’ve gotten in the past. The service was great, very attentive and pleasant, but unfortunately, both my pad thai and the fried rice were just plain and lacked flavor. " Latte of pleasure! My first time at Koung Thai was delightful. We had a lovely server who recommended the basil fried rice and the dumplings, both of which were incredible! Just enough spice and filled with flavor! The restaurant had a warm atmosphere but could use a little more décor. I'd definitely come back to try the other dishes they have to offer!
