" The dishes here capture the essence of authentic Afghan hospitality! I had the pleasure of trying their bolani and felt it was one of the best I've had outside of Afghanistan! Plus, the hookah was a delightful addition to our evening. However, the service was a bit mixed; our server forgot part of our order but did apologize later. Nevertheless, the flavors of the food made up for the small inconvenience. I will be back for sure! " (*Curated Review*)
" What an incredible experience! I visited Fanous for the first time during a Saturday night, and I was blown away by the atmosphere. The music was just right, not too loud, allowing for easy conversation. I ordered the chicken kabob, and it was perfectly seasoned and grilled. The hummus was delightful, paired beautifully with the warm pita. I also tried the mint lemonade, which was refreshing. The service was quick and attentive; I felt taken care of without being pressured. Can't wait to come back again! " (*Curated Review*)
" The only thing about Fanous is that you can expect a lively atmosphere regardless of when you go. The staff is generally friendly, but we had a new server who was a bit overwhelmed. The food itself was highly enjoyable; I loved my chicken kabob. The spacious interior allows for a comfortable dining experience, making it a solid choice for gatherings. " (*Curated Review*)
" This was my first time visiting Fanous, and honestly, it did not meet my expectations. Though the food looked appetizing and had good flavor, there was a certain lack of authenticity I was hoping for. The hookah was fine, but not exceptional. The service was quite slow which added to the disappointment. The place has potential, but I think they need to focus on the authenticity of their offerings. " (*Curated Review*)
" Really not impressed with my visit to Fanous. The service was exceedingly slow and the waiter seemed distracted. I ordered a few appetizers to share with my friends, but they took too long to come out. By the time we got our food, some of us had lost our appetite. I noticed other tables receiving priority and felt somewhat neglected. The ambiance is nice but it would’ve been much better if the service matched it. " (*Curated Review*)
" The food at Fanous was mostly good, but I felt that the serving sizes left something to be desired. I had the combo plate which was tasty, but I expected larger portions for the price. The ambiance was really nice, and it had a great vibe for hanging out with friends. The service was decent, although our server took a while to check on us after we were seated. " (*Curated Review*)
" Fanous has quickly become my favorite place to indulge in delightful Afghan cuisine. The fresh flavors are incredible, and the portions are most generous! I highly recommend trying their mint lemonade, it complements the meal perfectly. The service is typically great but can get a little slow during peak hours. I enjoy the vibrant atmosphere, especially when there’s live music! This place really knows how to make a dining experience enjoyable. Overall, a must-visit for anyone in the area.
