" As a local, I've eaten at Capellini more than a few times and have experienced their ups and downs. Most of the times the food is excellent; however, there have been occasions when it just didn't hit right. For instance, during my last visit, I ordered the fettuccine Alfredo, and there was something off about the sauce. It lacked that creamy texture and taste I look for. " I visited Capellini last month on a whim and was charmed by the Italian decor. My husband and I had a romantic dinner, and the food was wonderful! We shared a hearty antipasto platter first, filled with fresh meats and cheeses. I had the chicken Francese, which was perfectly cooked and served with a delightful lemon butter sauce. We tried a multitude of dishes: each one was tasty and well prepared. I especially enjoyed the bruschetta as an appetizer—so fresh! Our main course selections could not have been better. The staff was exceptionally warm and accommodating, offering us suggestions that truly catered to our tastes. Everything felt authentic, and despite being busy, our server attended to us with great care. I want to give a special shout-out to their cannoli, which was perfection! " What a fraud! The pasta was overcooked, and we had to wait excessively for drinks. The waiter, although polite, seemed overwhelmed. The positive here was that they recognized our table had been neglected and offered us dessert for free. I must say, the dessert was strikingly good!
