" After all the buzz, I thought I'd try Anejo. And, while the atmosphere was beautiful, I didn’t find the food as authentic as I had hoped. My quesadilla was decent, but I've had much better elsewhere. The service was friendly but seemed overwhelmed, leading to longer wait times. " Easily one of my favorites! I never pass on the tamales; they remind me of my grandmother's recipe with homestyle flavors. The nachos are big enough to share and very well topped. The servers are friendly and eager to make your visit enjoyable. I’ve introduced my family to this place and they all agree it’s a must-visit when in Ponte Vedra. " This restaurant had some of the best carne asada I’ve eaten in a long time! The staff treated us like family, and the ambiance was fun, with great music playing in the background. While the portions were large, the only downside was that my margarita was a bit too sweet for my liking, but that’s just personal preference. " I've visited Anejo on several occasions and have mostly had a pleasant experience. The atmosphere is colorful and welcoming. However, my last visit was somewhat lacking. I ordered the chili relleno, and it was undercooked which affected my overall experience. Service fluctuates; sometimes it's spot on, and other times it can be a bit slow, particularly during busy hours. The margaritas you can always count on being excellent, though!
