" Kin's Wok has been a part of my restaurant rotation for years but I must admit my last visit left me quite disappointed. I love good Chinese food; however, the sweet and sour chicken tasted overly sugary, giving it a syrup-like flavor rather than the expected balance between sweet and tangy. My companion ordered the general tso and had a similar opinion—it felt more like heavy breading than authentic chicken. The service was decent; they did take our orders quickly, but we waited much longer than expected for our food. The interior had a take-out vibe, but cleanliness was lacking, and many tables were dirty. I aim to give this place another shot in a few months, but as of now, my visit was far from great. The chicken egg foo young tasted stale and was likely cooked ahead of time, and the gravy poured over it was watery and lacked flavor. It definitely didn't have the homemade feel to it. The service was still acceptable, and the staff seemed friendly enough, but this place can’t be serious about their quality. I’ll be searching for a different place to get my Chinese fix next time. " Every time I decide to go for Chinese food, there's been a draw toward Kin's Wok due to its menu. The fried rice is nice but often greasy. I wish they would use a fresher approach to their ingredients. Fun fact: you can ask for the spice level on the meals, which I find interesting since most places won’t do that! I ordered a spicy chicken that was quite flavorful but could have benefited from better vegetables; they were bland. It’s neat being able to customize it, yet the eat-in experience is mediocre. " I have to say, if you're looking for authentic Chinese food, you might want to look elsewhere. Kin's Wok was my go-to for a while, but after a couple of disappointing meals, I can confidently say it's not what it used to be. The last time I visited, my order was incorrect, and the staff seemed uninterested in helping fix the mistake. The chicken lo mein was overly oily, and the portion sizes seemed smaller than before.
