" Barra Barra is a must-visit place for anyone seeking solid Mexican food in San Diego! The margaritas are top-notch — refreshing and not too sweet. I highly recommend the Barra sampler for starters, as it gives a nice variety of flavors. The atmosphere was great, especially dining outdoors under the stars. " I had an average experience at Barra Barra. The chicken fajitas were okay but nothing stand-out. The salsa was quite mild, which didn’t really do much for dipping chips. One of my friends remarked on how lovely the outdoor area was. Unfortunately, some of the food lacked flavor, and some dishes arrived late. " I was highly disappointed with my last visit to Barra Barra. The service was slow, and our food took far too long to arrive. When I finally received my fish taco, I found it bland and not what I expected. The environment, while festive, couldn't compensate for the drawbacks in service.
