Maggiano's Little Italy is praised for its vibrant atmosphere and hospitable service, although some customers have expressed concerns regarding the authenticity of its Italian cuisine, hinting at it as more mainstream and less traditional compared to small, family-run Italian restaurants. Despite this, most find the food enjoyable and appreciate the generous portion sizes.

" As a first-time visitor, I was amazed by the charm of Maggiano’s. The decor made for a lovely ambiance, perfect for an evening dinner. The food was good, although I'd say it tries hard to be fancy without being overtly authentic. I had the fettuccine alfredo, and while it was creamy, it had a curious twist of spice that didn’t quite sit right with my idea of traditional Italian. The service was friendly though! " Visited Maggiano's last weekend for our anniversary dinner and had an unforgettable experience. The waitstaff was incredibly attentive without being intrusive. The lobster carbonara was rich and exciting! I was impressed by the size of the portions. I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone seeking a lovely dinner out. Can’t wait to return! " Went to Maggiano's last night and was a little disappointed. The service was slow, especially for a busy night, and the food didn’t live up to its reputation. Don't get me wrong, it was decent, but I've had much better Italian food in authentic family-owned restaurants. The atmosphere was nice and cozy, though, which made up for some of it. I might give it another shot, but next time I will have lower expectations. " (*Curated Review*)
" What an amazing dining experience! We had a party of 10 and Maggiano’s handled it like pros. The family-style dining was perfect; everyone got to try a little bit of everything. The food was delightful, especially the manicotti and veal. Service was impeccable. I think we are definitely coming back soon for another family celebration! " (*Curated Review*)
" The atmosphere was lively and comfortable, a perfect place for family-style dining. However, my meal was just average. While I appreciate generous portions, I feel the pasta lacked that homemade feel I usually desire from Italian food. Our server was great and the ambiance made up for it - in the end, I'd recommend! " Had lunch here and the service was excellent, but the food was disheartening. My eggplant parmesan didn’t have spaghetti, which disappointed me after realizing it later. The taste was decent, yet it wasn’t what I expected. The ambiance was nice, making it a decent outing still, but overall not very satisfying. " (*Curated Review*)
" Maggiano's had a lovely atmosphere and was busy, so I expected good things. However, my dinner of ravioli didn’t blow me away. It was a bit bland. The service was attentive, but I needed to ask for things that ideally should have been anticipatory. Overall, I’m not sure if I’d go back, but I enjoyed the ambiance. " (*Curated Review*)
