" This was my first visit to Villa Capri, and I had an overall wonderful experience! The garlic bread is indeed as famous as everyone says—it had the perfect balance of crispiness and fluffiness! I enjoyed the cheese ravioli, which had a nice filling but could use a more robust sauce. The entire ambiance felt friendly and laid-back, which I treasured. The only downside was that I felt our service could have been slightly quicker, especially since it wasn’t too busy. All in all, it’s a great place I’d recommend to friends. " (*Curated Review*)
" Villa Capri has been my go-to spot for years! There is something about the atmosphere that just feels right. The red checkered tablecloths, cozy seating, and Italian music create the perfect vibe for indulging in comforting Italian cuisine. Most of the time, the food is top-notch and you can’t go wrong with their lasagna and homemade garlic bread! My last visit though, the meal wasn’t quite up to par, as the portion felt a tad smaller than normal. However, I appreciate their effort to maintain quality over quantity. Overall, a cherished place that I always look forward to returning to! " (*Curated Review*)
" I wasn’t sure what to expect from Villa Capri, but I came away thoroughly pleased. The atmosphere felt like stepping into a corner of Italy with its warm colors and vintage decor. The highlight was undoubtedly the tiramisu; it was heavenly! On the downside, my lasagna was somewhat bland and could have used some seasoning. Our waiter was attentive, but we had to wait a while for our meals to arrive. Even so, I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a hearty meal in a charming environment. " (*Curated Review*)
" Villa Capri is just okay, honestly. While the garlic bread is undeniably delicious, the rest of the food is hit or miss. I ordered the penne with vodka sauce, and it tasted remarkably bland and uninspiring. On top of that, our server often disappeared, leaving us parched and forgotten for long stretches. The atmosphere is cozy, but with service like that, it really took away from the experience. Instead of focusing on the meal, I was more concerned about getting someone’s attention to get my check. " Our dinner at Villa Capri was quite underwhelming, to say the least. The garlic bread was delicious, but that was the highlight. The spaghetti was incredibly oily, and I can't say I enjoyed it. There was no depth to the flavor of the sauce, and the meatballs were dry. In addition, our waiter seemed overwhelmed and didn’t check on us throughout our meal. We left feeling disappointed, which is a shame because I remember having better experiences in the past. It’s a nostalgic place for many, but for me, the meal did not live up to the hype. " Visiting Villa Capri was like stepping back into a familiar Italian dining experience. I loved the decor and the quirkiness of the place, but I was amazed by how authentic it felt. The marinara sauce on my eggplant parmesan had this vibrant freshness that you don’t often find in local establishments. It’s a little tight on space, which made the atmosphere feel quite lively. My only qualm would be that I found my meal to be slightly overpriced for the portion size. Regardless, I’m definitely making plans to return soon! " (*Curated Review*)
" I had high expectations after reading reviews, but sadly Villa Capri fell flat for me. The bread was fantastic; I will give it that. However, the main course I tried lacked authenticity. The meat sauce tasted more like a sweetened ketchup than a rich Italian sauce, which was disappointing. The service was variable; I felt like we were forgotten at times. The ambiance was nice but a bit dark for my taste. I might give it another shot in the future, but only if I hear some better reports! " (*Curated Review*)
