" I’ve been to El Pollo Loco a few times now, and honestly, it feels hit-or-miss. Sometimes the chicken is perfect, perfectly grilled, and incredibly tasty. Other times, I’ve received chicken that was dry and lacked flavor. What’s consistent, though, is the average service. " The other day, I picked up a couple of burritos from El Pollo Loco and they were okay. I expected more based on what I had heard; they were a bit skimpy in terms of fillings, and one burrito had spilled sauces onto the wrapper.
