" It’s always nice to come back to a familiar place. Peony doesn’t fail to deliver quality food; I’ve been coming here for years and it never gets old. My favorite is the house special beef; it’s consistently tender and flavorful. The staff knows us well but still treats us with a friendly charm each time. Last night was busy, but we were still attended to promptly. It’s the kind of restaurant that makes you feel at home without the mess. I encourage anyone nearby to come check it out! " After several visits to Peony Chinese Cuisine, I can confidently say it's one of the best Chinese restaurants in the area. The moment you walk in, you're greeted with smiles from the staff, making you feel right at home. My favorite dish is definitely the orange peel chicken; the flavors are vibrant and authentic. The portions are generous, which makes it great for sharing or having leftovers. The cleanliness of the restaurant is also commendable, which adds to the overall dining experience. I appreciate their consistency; every meal I've ordered has tasted just as good as the last. Will keep coming back! " (*Curated Review*)
" I had high expectations based on the reviews, but my experience was a mixed bag. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, which made our visit pleasant. However, the food left something to be desired. I ordered the garlic chicken and was expecting a burst of flavors, but it was rather bland and overcooked. The restaurant was clean and laid back, which I appreciated, but unfortunately, the food didn’t match that standard. I might give it a second chance because I heard their lunch specials are very popular, but I would temper my expectations. " (*Curated Review*)
" My recent experience at Peony Chinese Cuisine was pretty disappointing. The service was acceptable but not exceptional. I felt the food lacked a certain freshness and flavor that I had hoped for. The orange chicken, which is usually my go-to, was a letdown this time, being overly sweet and not at all balanced. I also found the fried rice to be rather bland. Overall, I don’t think I’d recommend it based on this visit, but I’ve heard good things in the past, so perhaps I’ll give it another shot in the future. " (*Curated Review*)
" First visit to Peony was great! We enjoyed trying a variety of dishes; everyone was satisfied with what they ordered. The service was quick and helpful as we were unsure about the menu, but the staff guided us well. My favorite was the teriyaki chicken skewers, they were absolutely delightful. The place is kept very clean and it shows they care about the dining experience. The only letdown was the wait for the food, which took longer than expected. Overall, a very good first experience that I plan to replicate soon. " (*Curated Review*)
" I recently visited Peony's and was quite impressed. The menu had a great mix of options, and I took the plunge with their house special chicken, which lived up to the hype. The staff was polite and efficient, the place itself was fresh and clean, and all around, it was a nice experience. Portions were above average, and I left very satisfied. I will definitely consider Peony for my next family night out! " (*Curated Review*)
" We visited Peony's on a Saturday night after hearing so many great things about the food. The restaurant had a nice vibe, moderately busy but not overcrowded. Our service was quick and attentive. We ordered a variety of dishes, including the Mongolian beef and chow mein. While the beef was tender and flavorful, the chow mein was unfortunately pretty bland. We also ordered some appetizers which were decent. Overall, it was a good experience, but I am hoping for more consistent flavors next time. The positive ambiance and friendly staff will bring us back, though. " (*Curated Review*)
