" Tonkatsu at Kagura is to die for! We had a lovely evening, and the staff played a big role in our enjoyment—they were friendly and eager to make your experience memorable. The tonkatsu was everything I hoped for; perfectly crispy and tender, making it a great comfort food option. " Kagura Costa Mesa is an absolute gem for anyone craving authentic katsu! My husband and I tried the filet katsu and the demi-glace tonkatsu, both of which were tender and seasoned to perfection. The atmosphere was cozy, and even though it was busy, we felt well taken care of by the staff. My only suggestion would be to improve the rice quality as it was just okay.
