" Simply put, Godfather's Pizza is a gem in the midst of a crowded food landscape. The smell alone takes you back to your childhood. I always order their classic combo pizza with extra cheese, and I can surely say I'd take this over any random pizza joint. The consistent quality is refreshing. The crust is just the right thickness, and each bite is packed with flavor! The drive isn't the easiest from my place in Iowa but well worth the trip based on the memories. They've got great special deals, too. My only suggestion would be to freshen up the décor a bit—it can feel outdated. But when the food is this good, who really cares about the seating area? " Had a family gathering at Godfather's Pizza, and it was an overall pleasant experience. The kids loved the cheesy pizza and we enjoyed an assortment of flavors for adults. Their dessert options were delicious, especially the cinnamon sticks! I do wish they had more protein topping options for the pizzas. " Can't believe it took me this long to return to Godfather's Pizza after so many great memories! Recently, I made the trip from Iowa just for their hot wings and specialty pizzas. I ordered the taco pizza, which is still one of the best I’ve had anywhere! The crust was perfectly crispy, and the toppings were fresh and plentiful. I could tell a lot of love goes into their food. The only downside was the service—it seemed like they had a new staff member who was still learning the ropes. She was sweet, but the wait was longer than I would have liked.
