" This was my first visit, and I was pleasantly surprised! The restaurant had a charming vintage feel, and I enjoyed the classic Italian atmosphere. I ordered the pasta primavera which was vibrant and fresh with sautéed veggies. The portion was very generous, and I couldn't quite finish it! " Wow! I can’t believe I’ve lived in Gainesville for so long without discovering Fera's Italian Restaurant. The decor is simple but charming, and the service was prompt. I started with the house salad, which had a delightful dressing that reminded me of ones my Italian grandma used to make. For my main course, I chose the shrimp and clam marinara. The shrimp were indeed large, and the sauce had a perfect kick to it. It felt like a homemade meal from a family member, which is hard to find. The portions were generous, too!
