" Wow! What an experience at Lung Yai. The restaurant is small but beautifully decorated to mimic a Thai street style ambiance. The food was exceptional; I loved the Tom Yum soup which had the right amount of kick to it. My only complaint is that the server rushed us to order which felt chaotic and made the experience less enjoyable. Portions seemed smaller than what I expected as well—maybe I was just really hungry! Still, I left satisfied and impressed overall. Ratings: Overall 4, Authenticity 5, Service 2, Atmosphere 4, Portion 3. " (*Curated Review*)
" Visiting Lung Yai was a delightful culinary adventure. The ambiance was vibrant, filled with the sounds of sizzling dishes being prepared in front of us. The food was exceptional; I had the crispy duck salad and massaman curry, both bursting with flavors that transported me straight to Thailand. However, the service felt rushed, and the one-time order policy is something that requires careful planning. The plates are on the smaller side, making it a unique challenge to decide what to order. Overall a great spot with authentic food, but I left wanting more! Overall: 4, Authenticity: 5, Service: 3, Atmosphere: 4, Portion: 3. " (*Curated Review*)
" If you love Thai food, Lung Yai is a place you're going to want to check out! The Pad Kee Mao was spicy and delicious! The fried chicken wings were also crispy and flavorful. Definitely felt the authenticity of the dishes, as they reminded me so much of what I had tasted during my recent trip to Thailand. I only have two complaints: the seating is quite cramped and the service had a hurried vibe, perhaps to accommodate more customers. Regardless, I'd recommend Lung Yai for anyone looking for Thai authenticity in Miami! Rated: Overall 4, Authenticity 5, Service 3, Atmosphere 3, Portion 4. " (*Curated Review*)
" I had heard so much about Lung Yai, and it did not disappoint. The moment I walked in, the smell of Thai spices wafted through the air, invigorating my appetite. I tried their famous Duck Basil dish, which was perfectly cooked and packed with flavor. However, the system where you can only order once really throws me off. I like having the option to add something if I want it, but I understand it keeps the flow of service quick. The atmosphere was cozy, albeit a little loud for my taste. Definitely a must-visit for Thai food enthusiasts! Ratings: Overall: 4, Authenticity: 5, Service: 4, Atmosphere: 3, Portion: 3. " (*Curated Review*)
" Lung Yai brought the essence of Thai cooking to Miami! I had high hopes for their fried rice and got what I was looking for. Each bite was full of flavor; I could taste every ingredient with distinct clarity. However, the atmosphere was a mixed bag for me. I do appreciate a unique vibe, but the noise level was tipping on uncomfortable for a dinner conversation. Service was efficient but borderline brusque. Overall, I’ll return for the food but I do hope they address their atmosphere and service. Overall: 4, Authenticity: 5, Service: 3, Atmosphere: 3, Portion: 4. " (*Curated Review*)
" I celebrated my friend’s birthday here, and we had a blast! The vibrant atmosphere made it a fun night. The food was authentic and bursting with flavors. We tried the massaman curry and pad thai, both were delightful. That said, the portion size was a bit small for sharing, leading to some disagreements amongst the group. The service was fast but borderline hurried at times. Overall: 4, Authenticity 5, Service 3, Atmosphere 4, Portion 3. " (*Curated Review*)
" My experience at Lung Yai was quite mixed. I loved the authentic flavors and the cozy vibe that made me feel like I was back in Thailand. However, the service was hasty, which detracted from the overall experience. We felt rushed to order and then to leave, which made for a stressful dinner. I had the fried mushroom appetizer and the classic Pad Thai, both were delicious but the portions were on the smaller side. I would revisit for the food but hope for a more relaxed atmosphere on my next visit. Ratings: Overall 3, Authenticity 4, Service 2, Atmosphere 3, Portion 3. " (*Curated Review*)
