" I visited Esca with some friends over the weekend. The whole place offers a lively atmosphere that was perfect for our get-together. We shared a variety of dishes including the grilled octopus and beet salad, which we enjoyed immensely. All flavors were lively and fresh, showcasing the chef's passion for the Mediterranean cuisine. However, I felt that the portions were somewhat small given the prices. Nevertheless, the unique cocktails and friendly service made our visit enjoyable, and we left with happy stomachs and smiles. I look forward to returning for another round of those cocktails! " (*Curated Review*)
" Visited Esca for the second time and it was another superb night out! We had a larger group this time, and the staff handled our reservations impeccably. The cocktails were as delightful as I remembered, particularly the basil gimlet. My favorite dish remains the straciatella, which I can't stop recommending! The only downside of the evening was the acoustics; it tends to get a bit loud during peak hours. Overall, it was a lovely evening, and I see why Esca has become so popular. " (*Curated Review*)
" Honestly, my experience at Esca was underwhelming. While the atmosphere was quite trendy and the staff friendly, the food just didn't resonate with me. I had the steak, which was overcooked, and I didn't find the flavors particularly impressive. However, the dessert selection seemed promising, but I decided against it after my less-than-ideal main course. Though I appreciate the effort that went into the decor and vibe, I'm not sure I'll return anytime soon unless I hear about significant changes in the kitchen. " (*Curated Review*)
" While I had high hopes for Esca, my experience didn’t entirely meet my expectations. Although the food was good, I found some dishes not to be very filling given their price point. The service was friendly yet rather rushed, and the atmosphere closely resembled that of a crowded café. I did enjoy their roasted vegetables and the dessert selection didn't disappoint. I'd consider giving Esca another chance, but I would suggest going on off-peak days for a more comfortable experience. " (*Curated Review*)
" Took my parents to Esca, and we all loved our meals. The pasta was made fresh and tasted incredible! The flavors burst with every bite. My favorite had to be the seafood dish, while my dad really liked the steak. The restaurant atmosphere was elegant yet relaxed, perfect for catching up with family. The service was attentive without being intrusive. We ended our meal with dessert and it was a lovely finish to our dining experience! We'll definitely return to try other items on the menu. " Esca is definitely the place to be if you want a memorable dining experience! The staff is friendly and well-trained, and the ambience is unmatched. I had the escargot, which was divine, paired with an exceptional wine suggested by the sommelier. To wrap it all up, my dessert was a delightful tiramisu that threw me back to my travels in Italy! I’ll most definitely be back for more culinary magic! My only feedback is that the seating could be a bit more comfortable to better enjoy the food experience fully. " (*Curated Review*)
" I had an underwhelming experience at Esca last Friday. While the restaurant looked great and gave off a very welcoming vibe, the food didn't live up to the hype I had built up in my mind. I had the pork dish, which was lukewarm and lacking flavor. The service was polite, but we found ourselves waiting longer than expected for our meals, which disrupted the flow of our night out. I did appreciate the atmosphere, it was upbeat and vibrant, yet I had anticipated a more flavorful and authentic meal. Perhaps I’m just comparing it to some of the other fantastic places in town.
