" Visited Taqueria Zavala last weekend after hearing great things. I tried their carne asada tacos and my friend got the burrito. The tacos were decent, though not as flavorful as I expected. The burrito, however, was stuffed to the brim! Great to share. The service left a bit to be desired, as we had to wait a while for our food, even though the place was not too crowded. " What an incredible experience! This place has the best authentic Mexican food I've ever had outside of Mexico. I indulged in their carnitas and horchata, and I can honestly say that it made me feel like I was back home. The atmosphere is cozy, and the staff were friendly. " Every Saturday after the market, my friends and I stop by Taqueria Zavala. It's become a ritual for us! Their huaraches are exceptionally good, the flavors remind me of my abuela's cooking. One time, I came for their menudo, but shockingly they ran out. I settled for their tacos de lengua which were also divine! " I was really looking forward to trying Taqueria Zavala based on the reviews, but my experience was disappointing. I ordered the cheese enchiladas and while the cheese was gooey and delicious, the sauce was bland and unseasoned. Plus, the wait for my order was over 30 minutes, and it wasn't busy at all.
