" What a treasure La Chaumière is in D.C.! I have been here several times and have always been impressed by the level of culinary expertise. This time I tried the lobster bisque and it was hands down the best I’ve had outside of Maine! The server offered great wine pairings that complemented each dish perfectly. " What a lovely experience at La Chaumière! From the moment I walked in, I felt like I was in a quaint French restaurant. I had the pike dumplings which were delightful, although I would have liked a bit more seasoning. However, my companion's duck was perfectly cooked and very flavorful.
