" I visited CAVA for the first time last weekend. I was excited, hearing it was a Mediterranean spot with lots of healthy options. While I appreciate their effort to provide variety, I found their take on Mediterranean food to feel somewhat Americanized. The flavor profiles were there, but they didn’t hit as hard as they’ve done in other authentic Mediterranean restaurants I’ve been to. The food was good, though I was hoping for more traditional Mediterranean flavors. The taste was fresh, but it felt Westernized to some degree. I lean towards their vegetarian options and have never been disappointed! It's a great feeling to eat something healthy while still indulging in flavors.
