" This is absolutely one of the best places to eat in Montreal. From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was wonderful with a homey feel. The service was exceptional too! I ordered the beef short rib, and it was cooked perfectly, tender and full of flavor. Every course was a delight, and the dessert was remarkable too! " What a delightful experience at Le Pégase! The food was incredible; we started with the duck confit, which melted in the mouth. The main course of bison steak was perfectly cooked to medium rare and so flavorful. The ambiance was cozy, perfect for a date night. We brought a lovely bottle of red wine, which they stored for us and served nicely chilled. The service was exceptional, with staff who were friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. " Le Pégase was a charming little find in the heart of Montreal. As soon as we walked in, we felt the warmth of the place. The menu is short but says everything—it focuses on French classics done right. I had the beef tartare, and while I found it decent, it wasn’t my favorite. The desserts, especially the crème brûlée, were light and sweet. But be warned; you definitely need to make a reservation as the space is small, and they fill up quickly.
