The food did not have the authentic taste I was looking for. My fried rice was bland, and there was a peculiar aftertaste that I couldn't pinpoint. The menu had very few vegetarian options as well, which was frustrating. The atmosphere had a local charm, but that didn’t make up for the food quality. " I would never recommend China House based on my recent experience. I ordered the shrimp fried rice, and it was the worst I've ever had. Bland, no shrimp, and the color was off-putting.
