" Last night, my friends and I gathered at Restaurant Bayon for dinner, and it was quite the experience! We enjoyed their unique range of dishes, everything from fried rice to curry. I will say, however, that the portions may not satisfy everyone, as we all left a bit hungry and had to stop by a snack place afterward. But still, the overall experience was delightful. Unfortunately, though it was delicious, we faced a dilemma with limited menu options, as a few dishes were unavailable on the night we went. " I was quite excited to try Restaurant Bayon after hearing good things from friends. They proclaimed the General Tao chicken was legendary, so I ordered that along with their renowned dumplings. While the dumplings came out steaming hot and were truly delicious, I unfortunately found the General Tao to be a bit disappointing. It lacked that signature crunch and had an overly sugary sauce that reminded me more of a fast food experience than authentic cuisine. The ambiance was cozy, but I felt it was a tad cramped. The service was attentive but a bit rushed, which made me feel a bit pressured to order quickly. Overall, I left feeling satisfied but slightly underwhelmed by the main dish.
