" I was very disappointed with my visit to China Max today. Initially, I was drawn in by the colorful display of food, but my excitement quickly faded once I sampled the orange chicken. It was bland and lacked any real flavor. The fried rice also left much to be desired, as it was dry and unappealing. To make matters worse, the staff seemed indifferent to my complaints. They didn't express any willingness to help or rectify the situation. I was so frustrated by the overall experience that I felt compelled to leave without finishing my meal. In my opinion, this place misses the mark on what good Chinese food should be. I won't be coming back, and I certainly would not recommend it to others. " (*Curated Review*)
" Had a decent meal at China Max today! The sesame chicken had a nice flavor, even if it wasn’t authentically Chinese. The service was friendly and quick which was nice. If you're not very picky, it's an okay option at the food court for a quick meal, but just don't expect any fine dining here. " (*Curated Review*)
" China Max offers a basic Chinese food court experience. Their Kung Pao chicken was a mix bag; some pieces were flavorful while others were bland. Overall, the food was just okay. Service was fast, which is a plus when you’re in a hurry, but the environment was typical for a food court with nothing to write home about. I’d return if I just needed a quick meal while shopping but wouldn’t come here for a dining experience. " (*Curated Review*)
" I had an interesting experience at China Max. The design is reminiscent of a typical food court eatery, and while the atmosphere isn't great, I didn't expect it to be. I ordered the chicken lo mein and was shocked to find that what they offered felt so far from authentic. The noodles tasted closer to pasta than anything remotely Chinese. Service was average; they were polite but not very engaging. Overall, the experience was underwhelming, and I probably won't be returning unless I have no other options. " (*Curated Review*)
" China Max's food court location offers quick meals, but unfortunately, the quality doesn't match the speed. I ordered a combination platter and while the serving size was generous, the taste was far from satisfying. The chicken was overcooked, giving it a rubbery texture. Despite the friendly service, the food left much to be desired. It felt like the ingredients were low-grade compared to other places in the mall. I wanted to love it, but I definitely won't be craving it anytime soon. " (*Curated Review*)
" My family and I popped into China Max while shopping and unfortunately, it did not meet our expectations. We thought the General Tso's chicken would be a hit but it was hot merely in temperature, not in flavor. My kids enjoyed the fried rice, but I found it to be very simplistic without any real seasoning or touch. The atmosphere was ordinary, as you’d expect in a food court. I can’t say I’d come back here for the food, but it might work in a pinch if you need a quick meal. " (*Curated Review*)
" Let me just say that China Max has some of the worst food I have ever eaten. I went in expecting a comforting bowl of noodles but ended up with something that tasted like it came from a carton. The noodles were soggy and lacked any flavor whatsoever. It was an overwhelming disappointment. The staff didn’t seem to care much about the food being served, either. They were polite but not engaged at all. I really tried to enjoy my meal for the sake of convenience, but I ended up regretting my choice. Save your money and go elsewhere! " (*Curated Review*)
