" First time trying the ice cream here, and I must say it was an experience! I loved the variety of flavors, but the service was sadly lacking. Everyone looked busy, but it wasn’t very welcoming. I managed to try the horchata ice cream, which was amazing, but I do think the prices can be a little steep. Cleanliness was top-notch, which I appreciated. I’d like to give it another shot, hoping for better service next time. " (*Curated Review*)
" Let me just say, the skippy is literally the best thing I’ve ever tasted! I didn’t expect the mix of flavors to be so incredible. The cash-only policy is a bit of a hassle, but it definitely won’t stop me from returning. They need more seating and maybe some decorations for atmosphere, but the focus is on the food, and they nail it. Every bite was heavenly, highlighting the true flavors of Mexico! " As someone who knows a bit about authentic Mexican desserts, I can say that Paletas y Nieves Limon does a fantastic job! I had the sandia paleta and it was just perfect for a hot day. It wasn’t overly sweet, and the flavors felt fresh. I appreciate that they prioritize cleanliness, and you can see the staff constantly washing their hands. The only thing I’d request is maybe some more seating options, as standing outside while enjoying my treat isn’t ideal. Nonetheless, I’ll bring my friends back for sure! " (*Curated Review*)
" Paletas y Nieves Limon had been on my radar for a while, and I finally decided to check it out. The paletas I tried were very good, especially the mango with chili! However, the customer service left much to be desired. The staff didn't seem very friendly, which took away from the experience. In terms of ambience, it’s pretty bare-bones—no seating, just a counter. The overall experience was decent, but I hope they improve their service! " (*Curated Review*)
" What a gem! I can't believe I've missed out on this place for so long. The flavors explode in your mouth, particularly the tamarind! I went on a hot Saturday, and the line was long but moved quickly. The staff did their best under pressure, but I would love to see a friendlier face next time. My only real complaint is that they only take cash (though they are in the process of moving to card payments), but I can manage that. Overall, a refreshing experience that I will return for!
