Shiki Sushi Teppan BBQ & Sports Bar provides an engaging dining experience with a strong focus on authentic Japanese flavors. Many customers appreciate the environment, where food is prepared theatrically right in front of them. While dish quality generally receives praise, inconsistency in service and some minor authenticity issues have been noted by patrons.

" Sadly, my visit to Shiki Sushi was quite underwhelming. Despite the festive atmosphere and friendly service, the food left much to be desired. The sushi rolls were mediocre and lacked the freshness that I expect from a sushi restaurant. The ramen was overly salty, and I couldn't finish it. I did appreciate the ambiance and cleanliness of the restaurant, but unfortunately, the food didn't live up to the expectations set by many. I most likely will not be returning anytime soon. " Visited Shiki Sushi on a busy Friday night and it was packed! The energy of the place was infectious, and we got seated fairly quickly. Our chef was very entertaining, juggling utensils and putting on a small show while preparing our meals. The sushi rolls were fresh and beautifully presented, and definitely lived up to the authentic taste that I crave. The only downside was that the service was a little scattered due to the number of patrons. Overall, I left very satisfied and will be back soon for some more delicious sushi! " (*Curated Review*)
" Unfortunately, my experience at Shiki Sushi was not what I expected. The appetizers took a while to arrive, and when they finally did, they were lukewarm at best. My main course, the hibachi shrimp, was somewhat bland and not as zesty as I would have liked. However, the staff was attentive and friendly, which somewhat salvaged my experience. I appreciate the attempt at authentic cuisine but was left disappointed overall. I might give it another shot in the future but possibly just for sushi. " (*Curated Review*)
" I've been a regular at Shiki Sushi for quite some time and I can say it has become one of my go-to places. The ambience is perfect for a casual night out or a special celebration. I particularly love the ramen — it’s flavorful and comforting, especially during the colder months. The drink selection is another highlight; they craft the cocktails with finesse. While I’ve encountered some service hiccups during busy hours, the staff is generally pleasant and eager to accommodate. As someone who enjoys authentic Japanese cuisine, I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place that delivers both good vibes and great food! " (*Curated Review*)
" While I enjoyed the ambiance of Shiki Sushi, I was disappointed with the consistency of the food quality. Some dishes were excellent, particularly the fried rice, while others, like the ramen, felt bland and unoriginal. The staff was friendly, which helped make up for the uneven meal. I would suggest this place with reservations since it can get packed at peak hours, but be prepared for hit-or-miss experiences! " (*Curated Review*)
" I've never been to a place quite like Shiki Sushi before! The mix of a sports bar atmosphere paired with traditional Japanese dining created a unique experience. It's lively, fun, and the food quality is pretty good. If you're a sports fan, it's definitely the place to be! My only critique would be that the service was a tad slow during peak hours, but the wait was worth it for the quality of the food. Definitely come hungry! " (*Curated Review*)
" I’ve been to many sushi places and I can easily say Shiki Sushi is not the best. The prices were higher than I expected and the quality didn’t warrant it. The sushi wasn't flavorful, and the atmosphere, although lively, didn't make up for the mediocre food experience. I might return for the teppanyaki grilling, perhaps that would be different than the sushi. " (*Curated Review*)
