" Cafe Porto Bello is a hidden gem! I went there for dinner with my husband, and we shared the classic spaghetti and meatballs and a margherita pizza. " Cafe Porto Bello provides a unique dining experience unique to South Boston. The food is spectacular, especially if you value authentic Italian cooking. I had a pasta primavera that was cooked al dente with a delightful array of fresh vegetables. After our meal, we ordered a slice of cheesecake and it was the perfect ending to a great meal. The staff was warm and welcoming. My only criticism is that the restaurant is small and gets crowded quickly, but that just adds to the community feel!
