" I had heard so much about La Puente, I had to try it out. The food was nice, but the experience fell flat. The service was really slow; it took a long time for our orders to be taken and even longer for the food to come out. I tried the shrimp fajitas which were tasty, but the portions were smaller than I expected. " I’ve been to La Puente a couple of times, and each experience has been fairly consistent. I think what stands out is the generous portions. The last time, I ordered the carne asada burrito, and it was massive! However, I felt that it could use more seasoning, and I was a bit let down with the rice that was very plain.
