" Incredible food with an authentic feel! The tacos I had were some of the best I've ever tasted. The spice levels were perfect, making every bite enjoyable. The casual atmosphere made it a relaxed setting for a dinner out. The only downside was the service felt a little rushed, possibly because they were busy that night. I would recommend visiting on a weekday if possible. The desserts were superb, especially the churros which melted in your mouth. Can't wait to return and try their special dishes next! " What an amazing evening at Calaveras! We walked in and were instantly captivated by the charming decor and friendly vibe. I ordered the shrimp tacos and was blown away by the layers of flavor in each bite. Additionally, the drinks were potent and delightful. A definite plus was the live music that added to the festive atmosphere. The staff made us feel very welcomed; they were attentive without being overbearing. " Calaveras quickly rose to be my favorite Mexican restaurant in Montreal. The tacos are simply phenomenal! Each bite transports you straight to Mexico with their authentic taste. Additionally, the staff is not only friendly but also incredibly knowledgeable about their menu, helping you find the perfect dish. What I love most is the atmosphere which is vibrant and makes for a perfect setting for outings with friends. I had a little wait for my table, but it was absolutely worth it. " What a wonderful place! The vibe at Calaveras is unbeatable. I went for lunch and enjoyed their famous nachos which were loaded with fresh ingredients and fantastic flavors. It’s one of the best nacho plates I’ve ever had. The staff were welcoming and attentive, which made the experience even better. The only thing that could be improved is the seating; the place was a bit cramped for my liking, and it would be nice to have more space to enjoy the meal. Other than that, I’m definitely returning!
