" Had a really enjoyable night at Olea! Went in expecting great Mediterranean fare and that’s exactly what I got! The dips were fresh; I particularly loved the feta dip. The wait staff was eager to help with recommendations, which I appreciated. " I was excited to try Olea after hearing great things from friends. The meal started with the dip trio, which was spectacular. Each dip had its own distinct flavor and was paired wonderfully with fresh, warm pita bread. For the main dish, I opted for the Italian twist on a Mediterranean classic: the Greek-style lasagna. It was hearty but a bit more fusion than authentic, which was a tad disappointing. The service could improve, as we had a long wait to get our drinks. Overall, not bad but room for improvement. " What a fantastic place! The atmosphere at Olea felt very Mediterranean, with beautiful decor and a warm vibe. Our server was excellent, providing quick service and great recommendations. I particularly loved their unique spin on traditional Mediterranean dishes; the lamb hash was mind-blowingly good, and the sweet desserts were a perfect ending. " Olea is a gem! I’ve been here a couple of times and have never been disappointed. Their Greek paella is a must-try; the saffron rice is flavorful and the dish is packed with a savory blend of ingredients. However, during my last visit, the service was a bit slower than usual. " If you're in Fort Greene and haven't tried Olea yet, you need to! This place is an oasis for Mediterranean food enthusiasts. The selection of dips is extensive, and we tried almost all of them. My favorites were the feta-labneh and the red pepper dip; both were incredibly fresh. The atmosphere was bustling but comfortable.
