" Wow! Just wow! I've never experienced flavors like this before. Each cut of meat was perfectly marbled and cooked right at our table. The yukke raw beef was surprisingly delicious and I don’t usually go for raw dishes. One issue was that the staff kept nudging us to order more when we hadn’t yet finished our current selections. " I was really excited to try Tsuruhashi after hearing so many good things, and it did not disappoint! The meats are absolutely top-notch, especially the kalbi and skirt steak. The sides could've had more variety, and I was disappointed to see that extras were charged for dipping sauces and veggies. Despite that, the main attraction— the grilled meats— absolutely delivers. However, I felt that the portion sizes were too small, especially for the price. The atmosphere is lively, albeit a bit cramped. " Tsuruhashi is a true gem! We arrived promptly at opening and were seated right away, which was a lucky move as the place filled up fast. The beef tongue and short ribs were the highlights of the meal. One star off for the somewhat high prices, but you're really paying for the quality. " I’ve always been a fan of Japanese BBQ, but Tsuruhashi takes it to the next level! The A5 wagyu is an experience all on its own; it literally melts in your mouth. The atmosphere is cozy and reminds me of my trips to Japan. My only downside was that I felt rushed towards the end of my meal, which can be a bit off-putting when you just want to savor each bite.
