" There’s a lot to unpack about 2000 Chinese Restaurant. I went in expecting typical Chinese fare but was left feeling detached from the experience. While the staff were friendly, the food was disappointing. I ordered the sweet and sour chicken, which was overcooked and unappetizing. " I decided to check out 2000 Chinese Restaurant based on a recommendation and ended up having an average experience. " While my previous experiences at 2000 Chinese Restaurant were hit or miss, I have to say my most recent visit surprised me. The food was surprisingly fresh, and my general tso's chicken was crispy with a great flavor. " Out of all the Chinese spots in the area, I keep returning to 2000 because of their fried rice and large portions. I've tried a couple of dishes, and my favorite has to be their shrimp fried rice–it's loaded with ingredients and tastes pretty good. However, I wouldn’t call it authentic as I tend to find it much saltier than expected. The service has been a hit or miss—sometimes they’re friendly and fast, other times I wait way too long for my takeout order. Thankfully, the affordability makes up for some of the shortcomings. " I recently visited and found a great local gem! The fried rice was superb, and the portion size was impressive for the price.
