" So I’ve visited Joy Garden a few times now, and it’s always been really dependable. The chicken fried rice is hands down impressive. I also admire how quickly the food is made; feels like you’re in and out in no time. Just make sure to double-check your order if you are ordering ahead. " I want to share my experience at Joy Garden since it has been a mixed bag lately. On one hand, I always get my food fast and hot; the fried rice is pretty good. However, I have found the quality of the dumplings has dropped significantly, they seem a lot doughier than before. And the chicken in my kung pao was almost nonexistent, ultimately disappointing. " As a long-time resident of Galesburg, I can definitely say that Joy Garden is a staple for quick, comforting Chinese food. I've been going here for over 5 years and while I've noticed some changes with the new management, they still deliver on some tasty meals. I particularly enjoy their beef and broccoli and their orange chicken is always a hit in my family. Just be prepared for long wait times if you choose to get the delivery.
